News from Continental Ponds

The rain, tornados and lightning have played havoc on us this year. All of our seminars in February, March and April were cancelled due to weather. The forecast for the first week of May looks to consist of more rain as well. So, if you were scheduled to have a pond installed or serviced, please be patient. We will get to you as soon as possible. Although Mother Nature has taken its toll on us, the cooler temperatures and all the rainfall these last few weeks have made for a great start to a new growing season. We look forward to a fun and productive Spring, Summer and Fall improving and beautifying our clients’ environments. Here is a look at a few of our upcoming events and new programs:

The 365 Pond Tour

Within the next few weeks we will be introducing Oklahoma's first 365 Pond Tour. What exactly is the 365 Pond Tour? Well let me tell you, 365 days a year most of these ponds will be on display, open to the public. That's right, stop by when it's convenient for you, anytime of the year, in some cases day or night! This unique pond tour is the ultimate testimony that we have to offer. If you are looking for pond design concepts or ideas for your backyard waterfall, if you what to see for yourself what a pondless waterfall looks like as it disappears into a gravel basin or inspect some of our pond construction sites at your leisure, then the 365 Pond Tour is perfect for you. Ponds for Kids

Continental Ponds is proud to announce the addition of our NEW Ponds for Kids Program. Continental Ponds has partnered with the North American Water Garden Society and the Oklahoma Wildlife Federation to bring a meaningful outdoor study area to the school yard as part of the Backyard Habitat Program.

Customer Appreciation

On the evening of May 12th we will be having a Customer Appreciation Day as well as our night pond viewing at our shop. In addition, we will have guests from our local assisted living center here to tour the ponds as well. So, come join us for a “Pond Party” Continental style!
